So after
an amazing evening this New Year's Eve- I was reminded of something. Just how important music and the DJ can make or break
an evening.
Marshall Argovitz was referred to me by a work associate when I was getting
married. This was my second wedding and I wanted to do things less traditional. We rented a restaurant and made our wedding
theme a Masquerade Ball. It was important to me that it was understood- I wanted a party. It seemed most DJs have a "wedding
routine". They think they're all the same and just show up. Marshall was different.
When we met and I
shared my idea- Marshall ran with it. I wanted Phantom of the Opera music for the ceremony- Marshall handled the rest.
When our wedding started- Marshall played some amazing lounge lizard, Rat Pack music to
set the tone. The guests mingled, finding masks when they arrived wondering what to expect.
When the bridal party was
ready to enter- Marshall became MC and directed the crowd and got everyone in to place.
When I entered- the wedding assistant
had got off with our music and the timing was way off. Marshall was attentive and corrected the music to where we needed to
be by the time we were in place for our vows. No one knew!
After we said our vows- Marshall
announced us and the party started! For all the weddings I have been to over the years- I have never been to one where the
dancing started immediately?! The crowd was so into our event! The response was amazing!!
The magic that
Marshall creates is due to his attention. He watches the crowd he's playing for and reacts with his massive collection
of music. He makes sure everyone is catered to so the whole room will get up and dance! He understands the flow of a party.
People will be up then people need to be down. Fast and slow but all according to what the room wants.
Marshall is
an amazing talent. I would recommend him highly and will personally use him again and again at any event that would call for
music. He is professional, timely, and throughout my entire wedding- the one entity I had zero worry over. People talk about
our wedding over and over. I know it was Marshall that brought the whole thing together.

the New Year's Eve party we just attended and I was reminded of all this.
Once again- Marshall
doesn't just play an event.
He makes a party.

Just wanted to drop you a line. Between getting married, moving across country, and
starting new jobs, we've been busy! With the time we had this morning though, we wanted to let you know how thankful we
still are for the great job you did at our wedding! Your comedic timing, choice of tunes, and wacky techniques to keep the
party going made for the best reception we could have hoped for. We have had quite a few guests comment on "how great

Sorry for being MIA for so long! I just wanted
to let you know how much I enjoyed you being at our reception. You did such a great job keeping things moving,
and that was a tall order with my crowd! You had the older crowd, the younger crowd, and everyone in between, up dancing
all night.... You helped keep the kids from taking over the dance floor (my biggest fear).... You kept things FUN (my biggest
wish). I've had so many people tell me since the wedding how much fun it was - and that is exactly what I hoped
for all during the planning stages! The anniversary song was so hilarious - it was a great surprise for both of us.
I especially liked how you played all the silly songs, like YMCA and Hokey Pokey and the Mashed Potato, but you blended them
together so we didn't feel too silly for too long - it was just perfect! Thank you so much for helping make our
wedding reception so wonderful - I wouldn't change it one bit. I'd recommend you to any other brides in a heartbeat...
especially since you're a professional candle-lighter as well!

about you! At one time in the evening, I looked across the room, only to see my 84 year old aunt twisting the night away on

party, you created a night of memories for many.

was wonderful and the lights were incredible. I almost hugged you when I saw you had them done! They really made the atmosphere.
All of our guests keep commenting on how great you were with the crowds. Even the MC for the facility said that our event
was easily in the top ten of weddings he's had in the last 30 years. I will definatey recommend you to all of my friends who
are planning on getting married (even those that aren't). You were amazing and kept the reception going at a perfect flow.
I didn't feel rushed, and I didn't feel like it was dragging. Mark and I are very grateful that we listened to everyone's

That was so sweet of you to call and ask about us. You are just the most amazing DJ. You made our reception
so special. Of course, neither Chris or I ever imagined that he would be in a wheelchair on our wedding day, but you
managed to find a way to make our reception more meaningful because of it. We love, love, love the way you had our guests
dance to our first dance song. Those were the people who are nearest and dearest to our hearts and we will never ever forget
that they were able to dance to the song that Chris and I had chosen to be our first dance as husband and wife. I really can't

Seriously, though, I've never seen a DJ work with such professionalism and personality, and I am so
happy we chose you. I think you played just about every song we requested...I didn't want to get off the dance floor! OH!
and I'm so glad that you asked us if we wanted a "second" last dance song. I loved that song by Donna Summer. And honestly,
when I look back on the whole night, one of my fondest memories is Chris and I twirling around on the dance floor to that
song, with all our friends and family circled around us, clapping and cheering. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I think
about it. Wow. What a memory. So, thank you Jim, for playing a part in making my dream wedding come true. I will never forget
it!

I first ran into Marshall Argovitz over a year ago at my brother-in-laws wedding. It was basically about a year to our
big day so we were on the look out for a D.J. By the end of the night we were making arrangements for our day a year down
the road. I have been to quite a few D.J.'d events in my time, ranging from bargin basement D.J.'s to top of the line D.J.'s
and I am hear to tell you that Marshall puts them all to shame. I would think that the you can tell a good D.J. from the crowd
he keeps up on the dance floor ensuring that the music he plays appeals to the majority of the people at the function. I have
never seen so many empty seats!! We had guests coming from all across the States and Canada and for two days after our wedding

I have been meaning to let you know how much we appreciated you coming all the way from Texas to Iowa
to DJ at our wedding. You did an excellent job! We had alot of comments on how good you were from our guests. We had some
people ask where we got you from because they were looking for a DJ for their wedding.
Our guests liked the wide variety of music played and how involved you got into the event itself. It

Last weekend my husband and I got
married at the Victorian House in Kaufman. When planning the wedding months before, we decided that we wanted to have a DJ
at our reception. Our wedding coordinator told us about a man by the name of Walter Cooper who usually does their receptions.
We met with Mr. Cooper and he seemed like such a nice and fun guy. We only knew him for about an hour, but that did not stop
him from using his generously appropriate attitude to invite us to his annual Halloween Bash. I thought that was so nice of
him.
The video he sent home with
us helped us imagine what it would be like to have him as our DJ. We were sold after seeing that, it was awesome! Through
the whole planning process he kept in touch with us through e-mail. After we had all of our songs picked out he even made
a time-line to tell when everything was going to be done and when at the reception. Never once did we get stressed out about
the reception because we knew we were in good hands. When the reception finally came, we could not have asked for a better
day! He knew when to play certain things so my husband’s and my family would get up and show off their embarrassing
talents (dancing that is!). J
It was so much fun. He even had
songs and games for the kids. Our two year old daughter, who cried through the whole wedding, finally calmed down and had
so much fun at the reception. I never knew I could have so much fun, but Mr. Cooper showed me and everyone else that you can
have a good time, even if you are shy.
In conclusion, if you or someone
you know is looking to have a great time at any occasion, Walter Cooper is “THE MAN”! He will make your dream
party become a reality.

DJ- Marshall Argovitz- Another awesome vendor! WOW!! He did a great job!! Once we got everyone on the dance floor (after
first dances and such)—it NEVER cleared. I danced all night and I know DH did, too. Marshall stuck to my no-play and play lists like a champ! I had some good, but not dance-y songs we wanted
played during dinner and he did them all! Also, he adhered to my absolutely don’t play list (i.e. chicken dance, Britney,
eminem). He rocks and was willing to work with us on the price. Also, he called to check in often during wedding planning
(which I will note that most of the higher priced vendors did not!). He is great!

From a Vendor Review on "The Knot" DJ: The Great DJ Marshall of northtexasdj.com!! He made such a great impression on us. He felt like family by the time the big day rolled
around. I had an incredibly shy crowd and he got everyone up and dancing. He really knows how to
read a group. He's not at all cheesy but he is a bit of a comedian....He had everyone laughing so hard at the beginning with
this fake neil diamond anniversary song. Just ask him about it! If you need an ice breaker or just want to get your party
going with some laughter after your highly emotional ceremony then you have to ask him about it!
Have to say also, after
interviewing so many different djs Marshall was the only one who, after our first meeting, knew exactly what mood, what tone we wanted. I
never had to give him a no-play list because he knew right off the top of his head what was crap, what was cheese, and so
on. We love this guy!

I just wanted to say what a joy it was to have Marshall at our Wedding. You were absolutely right, he is unbelievable. Our special night would not have
been as much fun if we had booked anyone else. Marshall captivated our reception and made it spectacular. We were all yelling for more. We have been to
many receptions over the years and have never seen anyone quite like Marshall. Where did you find him? Well, wherever you found him it was worth it. I am sorry for my rambling

James Steele is the most professional DJ I have ever worked with. I only wish
he would have been at my wedding reception which took place in another state years ago. (Knowing what I know now, I probably
would have flown him in!) His DJ services went above and beyond my expectations. I have never worked with someone so professional
and yet so entertaining. His equipment (lights, foggers, disco balls, bubble machines, etc.) was more than I expected. His
incredibly vast database of songs was perfect, as many ages were at my event. He definitely made the surprise party I threw
an event that is still being talked about today. Following my event I went to a pool party hosted by a different DJ and realized
how fortunate I was to have Jim. He wouldn’t even let us help him load at the end of the evening! He made my party a
success! I will look forward to his services in the future.

Dear Jim:
Just wanted to let you know how much we all liked your style at our Friday
Night dance. Our kids have proven to be a very tough crowd who knows what they
like and demand it. Of all the dances I have been to in the last three years,
this one went the smoothest. Your mix of songs, and response to the kid’s
requests (and mine) made it a very enjoyable evening. The kids had a ball playing
limbo, and it gave them something different to do. Your lights and special effects were awesome and you had the volume just
right - loud enough for the dancers and yet the adults weren't deaf at the end of the night.
I have heard nothing but positive responsive from kids and adults alike. Be assured that as soon as we have the dates
for next year's dances that we will be calling. I will also be giving out your
name and number - Middle school sponsors have a tough time finding that right mix of pop and cutting edge music that doesn't
cross the lines with censorship, thank you for providing that for us. You can
use me as a reference any time.
